June Bug Ride was AWESOME!

Had an amazing 4 days on the road with amazing women riders.  Thumper from Garland came over on Thursday evening so we would be ready early Friday morning.  Told Diana from Hurst to be here by 7am for breakfast before KSU (kick stands up).  Well, Ms. Diana is knocking on my door at 6:15am...ya think she was ready or what?
We enjoyed at our leisure breakfast burrito's and coffee on the back porch in the cool morning air.  Wish we had left earlier but we did say this is a "No hurries and No worries" ride.  And that is exactly the way it went too.  So very nice.  No real plans except to get to Fredericksburg on Friday before dark.  (The deer like to come out at dark....they love Harley's so much they try to jump on with ya!)  We started down 174 in Burleson to catch 67 to Cleburne then head toward Meridian on 144 in Glenrose.  Was SWEET!  Met up with an old biker in Meridian that was way jealous of us ladies out on our bikes for the long weekend.  Told him "Too Bad, So Sad....this is a NO Wieners Ride"  He frowned but was doing with smiling eyes.  Another old biker guy told us a detour to take over to Hamilton 1238, so we took it and was it twisty....oh yeah.  Very nice little detour there.....thanks fella......whoever you were.  I will ride that one again.  Out of Hamilton went looking for 2005 to twist around into Golthwaite.  Then hook onto 16 for the remainder of our trip to Fredericksburg.  This is such a nice road to take in the spring, every wild flower that grows in Texas is blooming on that road in April and May.  But being as it's Hell Hot everywhere, not many flowers to admire.  Just the beauty of the landscape in the Hills.  Wonderful.

JUNE BUG RIDE!!!

It's almost here!!  My bike is ready, packing on Wednesday so I don't over pack.  Swimsuit, check.  Toothbrush, check.  Money, check.  Ok, that should do it......ready to roll!!  Now if Friday morning could just get here!!

Ms. Diana and Ms Thumper are ready too!!  I will post pics as soon as I line us up to roll out Friday morning.

Girls Ride to the Hill Country.....YEE HAW!

Well, it's that time of year when I need a Girls Only Ride.  June is my birthday month so this is my present to me!  Yepper.  Gonna hitch up with a local friend and ride down to Fredericksburg, TX for a ride on the Twisted Sisters!!  YEE HAW!!  I have ridden half that ride once upon a time....but there was simply not enough time to git er done.  This time, headed down early on a Friday with that goal in mind.  My sweet biker friend Diana was with me the first time, so she's coming along this time too.  We will meet up with Good Ole Lynda Lu in F-burg then ride all day on the twisty turny roads of the Hill Country.  Gotta stop in Saturday morning to visit Ms. Donna.  She was our guide last time, but she took a spill a few months ago and is not on two wheels yet.  So we will stop in for hugs and then off we three will go!  Wanna come along?  Check back as the date creeps up on us for departure.  June 25th...early...so as to take advantage of the cool air.

I am soooo ready for this!!!
